The Sew Weekly Reunion: Join Us!
Hello there!
We are Debi, Adey, Sarah and Veronica, the first batch of Sew Weekly contributors in 2011. Together with Mena Trott of The Sew Weekly (TSW), we sewed for 52 weeks based on a particular weekly theme. You might have sewn with us too, as we met many amazing sewists who encouraged us and kept us going throughout our year-long journey with TSW! We loved the experience so much that we didn’t hesitate coming together again in 2012 for the Mad Men themed challenge.
Or you might be one of the over 130 contributors sewing along each week in 2012. You were absolutely amazing and we loved how involved everyone was!
While, we wished we could, we are not able to bring TSW back.
Short on sewing time, missing The Sew Weekly and the joy of sewing together, we have decided to do a reunion yearly just to sew a common theme together.
And, we’ll love it if you could join us!
The Reunion
Debi, Adey, Sarah and Veronica are hosting a reunion.
The timeline:
1) Announcement of sewing theme- 1 August 2013
2) Deadline
Email us by 1 September:
a) A photo of you wearing the garment that you made for the theme challenge
b) A link to your blog post (preferably done in traditional TSW style) or a link to your flickr upload (see flickr group link below)
c) Email thesewweeklyreunion@gmail.com and we will respond with a confirmation within three days if we have received your email.
d) The Big Reveal will take place first week of September.
Join us, if you simply love to sew, love a good challenge, loved The Sew Weekly or if you missed it too! Anyone and everyone are welcomed to join!

Can’t find my comment, so to reiterate – I’m in. I have missed the weekly deadlines (not that I always got done in time anyroad). Cheers to all and lovely to see familiar faces who have also missed Sew Weekly.
I loved both TSW 2011 and 2012, but never played along. This, this I think I can do. I sure hope so anyway. So sign me up!

Yay for colours! Being relatively new to sewing, I hesitated for quite a while to join the challenge as the ladies hosting it might have gone for something complicated. But coloura – even I could do that! I’m hereby in!
